We are celebrating Lake Zurich Middle School South's 25th Anniversary with an afternoon of fun and charity that brings together current and former students, the Lake Zurich community and local philanthropists to make a difference in the lives of families in need!

Between May 1st and May 22nd, students from Lake Zurich Middle School South will come together to form 4-6 person dodgeball teams. These teams will each use their networks to raise money for Keep Swimming Foundation.

In addition, alumni of Lake Zurich Middle School South and local community members and businesses are invited to also create teams to either raise money online or even come play dodgeball in a separate tournament bracket when the fundraiser culminates on May 23rd at this year's dodgeball tournament!

ABOUT KEEP SWIMMING FOUNDATION:

Keep Swimming Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps families of critically ill patients afford the costs associated with visiting a loved one. The foundation was founded by Bill Coon (LZMSS '03 - LZHS '07) after he spent 70-days in the ICU waiting for a double transplant and a second chance at life. In those 70 days, the Coon family spent over $7,500 on hotels, bedside meals, parking and gasoline so that they could be by Bill's bedside and show their support. The foundation helps families afflicted by a wide range of conditions that lead to long-term inpatient hospital stays.
